Recommendations for a corporate ski trip

Heading out to the Alps on a ski holiday, to entertain clients, as a winter reward or for a staff incentive can be one of the true highlights of the office calendar. However, we understand that it can be logistically challenging with sometimes what can be a long list of requirements needed to keep all guests happy. Aspects that may need to be considered include rooming arrangements, travel logistics, transfer times and of course restaurant bookings and après ski entertainment, whether that’s at the Mooserwirt in St. Anton, Folie Douce in Val d’Isère or a massage treatment in your chalet’s private therapy room.
To make life a little easier for you as the group organiser we’ve listed some of the chalets which from experience we have found to work best for a corporate ski trip that we offer, with many of these properties accommodating shorter breaks alongside week long stays and mid-week changeovers. Below are some corporate highlights across the Austrian, French and Swiss Alps:
5* Chalet Infusion, Méribel
Resort best for: mixed ability skiers, excellent for everyone as it is in the heart of the Three Valleys ski area, with plenty to do on and off the slopes.
Chalet best for: relaxing in the afternoon sun and evenings.
Why Chalet Infusion: not only does the Chalet Infusion offer some of the best gourmet dining in the Three Valleys, the service is attentive, with staff going the extra mile with little touches and plenty of in-resort knowledge that makes the difference. There’s also the complimentary private transfers to and from resort and the chalet is undergoing a full renovation for this coming winter. For larger groups the beautiful Chalet Serendipity is nearby.
Sleeps: 12 guests
Location: 200 metres away from the Golf chairlift and the piste in Méribel Village.
6* Chalet Chouqui, Verbier
Resort best for: long lunches on sunny terraces, challenging skiing, chic evening cocktails and partying into the early hours.
Chalet best for: large groups looking for one of the finest properties there is.
Why Chalet Chouqui: two house champagnes, pre-dinner cocktails, 24-hour chauffeur, incredible cuisine and that’s just the service that you can expect. The Chouqui itself is amazingly spacious adorned with all the facilities you might want from one of the Alps’ finest ski chalets with one of Verbier’s largest swimming pools, a sunken outdoor hot-tub, cinema room, games room and bar.
Sleeps: 16-20 guests
Location: A few minutes by chauffeur to the lifts and centre of resort.
5* Chalet Le Chardon, Val d'Isère
Resort best for: excellent snow conditions from the start to end of the season, après ski and nightlife.
Chalet best for: large groups looking to have a holiday with a relaxed, homely yet luxurious feel.
Why Chalet Chardon: Offering ski-in/ski-out access but also chauffeur service until 02:00, it is very well suited to guests who might have ski school in the morning or want to head into resort after enjoying gourmet dinners cooked by your personal chef. That is if you can tear yourselves away from the two outdoor hot-tubs and Pol Roger champagne on offer. The decor is lavish yet homely, offering wonderfully relaxing surroundings and Chalet Le Chardon can be combined with its neighbouring sister chalets for larger groups. Canapés and aperitifs can be offered for the extended group to enjoy together, as well as having outdoor barbecues on the terrace of Le Chardon.

Location: ski-in/ski-out, a few minutes drive from the centre of the resort.
4* Hotel Club Med Val Thorens Sensation, Val Thorens
Resort best for: a range of ski abilities and snow-sure skiing until the start of May!
Hotel best for: guests looking for a holiday of utter ease with almost everything included.
Why Hotel Club Med Val Thorens Sensations: every aspect of a holiday and corporate break with Club Med is striving towards making your holiday as stress-free as possible: the hotel sits by the slopes and you can strap on your skis at the boot room door and ski onwards to the 600 kilometres of slopes of the Three Valleys. There’s also the fact that the hotel offers full-board accommodation, inclusive drinks and snacks and full area lift passes for everyone. There’s even complimentary ski lessons for guests arriving on a Sunday into resort. Hotel Club Med Val Thorens also boasts a hot-tub and climbing wall as well as break out space for any conferences or meetings and team building activities you may wish to hold.
Location: ski-in/ski-out, approximately six minutes walk from the resort centre.
5* Chalet Bouquetin, Morzine
Resort best for: a wide range of skiing, relaxed and gourmet lunches and informal post-ski drinks.
Chalet best for: smaller groups looking for a short transfer time to maximise their time away from the office.
Why Chalet Bouquetin: spread across four floors with commanding views from its elevated position above Morzine, the Chalet Bouquetin is modern and comfortable, chic yet cosy and comes with attentive service, wonderful dining and chauffeur to get you to and from the slopes. For post-ski R&R there’s a sunken hot-tub set on the large sun terrace, cinema room complete with reclining chairs and large feature fireplace in the attractive lounge.

Location: approximately 10 minutes walk from the centre of resort of four minutes drive.
6* Chalet Eden Rock, St. Anton
Resort best for: off-piste aficionados, après ski and good skiing for slightly more accomplished skiers.
Chalet best for: large groups who like fine dining, plenty of space to relax and unrivalled facilities in resort as well as the privacy of three separate yet seamlessly harmonious chalets.
Why Chalet Eden Rock: chalets such as the Eden Rock are a rarity, hence why the chalet since it’s launch just a few years ago has proven so popular. The chalet is a stunning property adorned with aged reclaimed wood to present a warm ambience, the dining Stube is the perfect place to socialise, as is the private bar in the chalet. For guests who want to relax after skiing, the private swimming pool, sauna and gym will provide the epitome of Alpine serenity.
Sleeps: 20 guests
Location: approximately three minutes drive from the Nasserein gondola, ten minutes from the centre of resort.
5* Chalet Rocca Penthouse, Val d'Isère
Resort best for: excellent snow conditions from the start to end of the season, après ski and nightlife.
Chalet best for: relaxed groups seeking style, amenities and a brilliant location with easy access to all that Val d’Isère offers.
Why Chalet Rocca Penthouse: the food at Chalet Rocca Penthouse is exceptional and the chalet is well versed in providing corporate groups with a memorable ski holiday. A 4×4 landrover drive service is on hand from 8:00am-8:00pm to get you to and from the slopes and centre of resort (although that’s not far) and the chalet is stylish and refined for relaxing in the evenings. All beds can be configured as king-size or twins making sharing rooms easy, plus the swimming pool, Turkish hammam and TV snug are welcome bonuses.

Location: two minutes drive from the centre of resort or approximately five minutes by foot.
